At 2 Magpies Design we love the character and history of old furniture. Often ornate in style, with quirks that represent eras gone by, It allows you to imagine the history and homes in which these pieces once lived. As fans of old meets new, stripes, splashes of colour, and a belief that we should bring character to our home, working to bring theses pieces back to life is our passion. With our new furniture we like to follow the same philosophy, by creating quality products oozing with character.

Reimagine.
At 2 Magpies design we are on a mission to reduce damage to the environment. A vast amount of beautiful, solid, well designed furniture is being discarded to landfill or burnt in waste incinerators, which creates toxic by-products and plenty of CO2. We can see the original beauty in the antique furniture; often more ornate and substantial than newer products. Reimagining these pieces and applying contemporary design is our passion. For our brand new furniture and upholstered antiques we offer recycled fabrics, we create intricate patchwork designs which enables us to utilise off cuts of fabrics which eliminates waste, and we are constantly looking towards new, more environmentally solutions when creating products.
